All Australian native plants and flowers have a fairy tending to them. The Australian Bush needs all of the plants and flowers to flourish so animals, birds, bugs, butterflies and bees have food and shelter.

The birds and animals are friends with the fairies and every year when the colourful native parrots moult their old feathers and replace them with new ones, the Bush Fairies collect them and use them in many ways like making dresses for themselves.

We can all help the fairies by caring for plants and animals too! We can help at home in the garden and in our local parks and bush to care for the native habitat.

The Australian bush fairies collection can be purchased individually or as a complete set. The fairies are available as cards or larger art prints.

A6 blank inside greeting card, printed on 100% Australian-made recycled card, hand painted, finished with an Australian native bird feather. All cards come with a 100% recycled envelope.

FAIRY SUBSCRIBTIONS

Monthly subscriptions designed for children aged 4-10years old. Each Subscription comes in the mail and includes a hand-painted Australian Bush Fairy Card, a letter from the Fairy, a flower print to colour in, a photo of the flower of the month, and a small activity pack. Each month carers will receive an email with extra activities also.

A4 PRINTS

Printed on 100% Australian recycled card. Hand painted, and finished with a native bird feather.

We use ethical practices. The collection uses recycled card and envelopes, all new feathers are ethically sourced from aviaries and we have a licence to use them in our work. We hope to promote a connection to the bush and bush care for children and adults alike.

The Australian Bush Fairies collection was originally created by my mother, the artist, Susanne Gronow. My father kept aviaries and many of the feathers that are still used on these cards come from those aviaries. My mother gave the collection to me when I became a mother, to continue working it’s fairy magic.
