Goldie – the Golden Wattle Fairy

Hello! I’m Goldie the Golden Wattle Fairy. I look after the beautiful blooming wattle shrubs and trees. So many bugs and bees and birds come to my wattle when its flowering, it’s a huge community of activity in late winter and early spring when the weather is starting to warm and everyone is getting excited for spring! I’m so busy during flowering season sometimes I just have to take a little nap on the soft yellow puffs of wattle. Next time you pass a beautiful wattle tree in bloom maybe you will catch a glimpse of me sleeping there!
